The combination of Mint and Raw Mangoes make for a killer drink, in Gujarati we call this drink Baflo, it is prepared by adding fresh Mint leaves to a purée of cooked Raw Mangoes, generally sugar is added, but I added jaggery for a healthier version and then blending everything and adding rock salt.
On hot and humid days having a sip of this drink instantly freshens and energies you. We had an abundance of fresh Mint growing in our pots and had fresh Raw Mangoes plucked from the neighbouring farm tree, so decided to make this Mango Mint cooler.
And then also made some popsicles from it, and adding Chilli Flakes to the popsicle gives a very nice spicy kick to the tangy drink.
